


Hawaiian Style Hot Dogs

Hawaiian Style Hot Dogs

Ingredients
1 Mango, peeled and diced
1 Cup Fresh Pineapple, diced
1/4 Cup Fresh Basil, chopped
Lime
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Can Chipotle Chili Adobo
1 Jalapeno, seeded and chopped
4 - 6 Hot Dogs or Spicy Brats, whichever you prefer
4 - 6 Hot Dog Buns
BBQ Sauce, for topping
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a bowl, combine the mango, pineapple, basil, lime juice, olive oil, chipotle chili pepper in adobo, and jalapeños. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Mix until all the ingredients are well combine.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
- Grill your hot dogs until cooked through and light char marks appear.
- Toast the hot dog buns on the grill. (Note: you can also spread some melted butter over the inside of the buns and place face down on the grill.)
- Place the hot dogs in the toasted buns. Drizzle with BBQ sauce and top with the mango-pineapple relish and pickled jalapeños.
- Enjoy!
